Woke up and the weather was very cloudy…Kids insisted on going in the pool at 8:00 am but it was not long before the sound of thunder interrupted the fun. A massive down pour then started, but hey we are British so off we went, first to get some breakfast from IHOP ( International house of pancakes), Joseph was desperate to have some all American Pancakes. Chocolate Chip no cream…with plenty of sauces..
After breakie the Sun was out all be it very cloudy still, off to Animal Kingdom to get our Disney tickets, we then spent the entire day in there.
Animal Kingdom is basically a theme park zoo, all be it with some Disney magic. On the safari we saw Hippo’s, Elephants, Lions , Rhino’s. Em’s really enjoyed that…then off around the park to do various rides and checkout various enclosures…Well I say enclosures they were generally very large. The Gorilla’s were my personal favourite.
We went on an awesome rapid ride, Ems and myself were desperate to cool down and the ride did not disappoint . Jules on the other hand was fully prepared not to get wet with a Disney rain coat she bought earlier. Joseph decide to hide underneath the garment just in case.
Then off to the Everest ride…a fast mountain rollercoaster ride. Ems thought this was certainly the best ride of the day..Fast action packed, and in the dark as we hurtled down the mountain, sometimes backwards, much to the dislike of her little brother.
Finally left the park 17:30, after various gift shops ( Sigh ). Off out to dinner and the outback steak house…boy more food than we could have imagined…
